~ 1 paid random draw is mandatory for each class except where stipulated.

~ You can only partner the same person once in each class except where stipulated.

If you do not have a partner then you can allocate autos.

~ All competitors must have signed a HVRS waiver & rider acknowledgement before they ride.

~ Riders rated #1 & under 18 years of age must wear an approved helmet at all times whilst mounted.

~ Entry fees include cattle, first aid & insurance levy.

1. "The Trots" - $25 per run

• Trotting or walking only. No verbal noises to be made at cattle
• Maximum 6 runs - pick up to 5 partners plus 1 mandatory random draw

2. Open Ranch Sort - $25 per run

• #3 and above rated riders only
• Maximum 6 runs - pick up to 5 partners plus 1 mandatory random draw

3. 'Tutor' Ranch Sort - 1 partner (2 runs) for $40 or pick 2 partners for $80
Are you a #1 or #2 rated rider? Pick a partner who is a #3 rating or higher. You get 2 runs with this partner.

• #3 & above rated gate riders ride for FREE
• #1/#2 rated rider sorts 6 cows & then you can swap out with your partner
• Final - your best run out of the 2 is chosen. The winning team is the one with the most cows sorted in the shortest time
• Pick up to 2 partners
• If you don't have a partner we can find you one

4. 16 Years & Under #1 Ranch Hand - $11 per run

• Random pick class only for juniors 16 years & under who are #1 rated riders
• 5 runs maximum

5. #5 Ranch Sort - $25 per run

• #3 and below rated riders only
• Team rating cannot go over 5
• Maximum 6 runs - pick up to 5 partners plus 1 mandatory random draw

6. #9 Random Ranch Sort - $25 per run

• Random pick class
• Up to 6 runs

7. Bareback &/or Bridleless - $25 per run

• Maximum 6 runs - pick up to 5 partners plus 1 mandatory random draw

1. #8 Ranch Sort - $25 per run

• Team rating cannot go over 8
• Maximum 6 runs - pick up to 5 partners plus 1 mandatory random draw

2. #2 Ranch Sort - $20 per run

• For #1 rated riders
• Maximum 6 runs - pick up to 5 partners plus 1 mandatory random draw

3. 16 Years & Under #1 Ranch Hand - $11 per run

• Random pick class only for juniors under 16 years who are #1 rated riders
• 5 runs maximum

4. 45+ Years Ranch Sort - $25 per run

• Competitors must be 45 years or over
• Maximum 6 runs - pick up to 5 partners plus 1 mandatory random draw

5. #10 Ranch Sort - $25 per run

• Team rating cannot go over 10
• Maximum 6 runs - pick up to 5 partners plus 1 mandatory random draw
