Rides/Lessons/Parties/Events canceled or rescheduled 24 hours or more prior to the scheduled reservation will receive a full refund minus $25 administration fee. Less than 24 hours notice for cancellation results in no refund. If Bailiwick Animal Park cancels due to unsafe weather conditions or other extenuating circumstances, riders choose between rescheduling or receiving a refund

I understand that my whole party must arrive 15 minutes prior to our ride time. Rides begin and end on time. No refunds will be given if you are late.

I understand that for the safety of myself and other riders that this is mostly a walking ride. If wranglers deem conditions are safe and ALL riders want to try trotting, there will be opportunity to trot.

All riders must wear close toed shoes, any rider not following this rule will not be allowed to ride. It is also recommended to wear long pants for comfort

I have filled out the liability release form. I understand that ASTM/SEI helmets are provided free of charge and are recommended for all riders at all times.

To stop your horse; shorten your reins and pullback gently until your horse stops. To ask your horse to move forward or start, squeeze with your lower leg until the horse starts moving. To steer your horse; pull the reins in the direction you wish to go; right to go right and left to go left. Do not let your horse eat along the trail. When riding uphill, use a slight standing position. When riding downhill, sit in balance with heels down. Safety: Keep at least one-horse length between your horse and the horse in front of you. Crowding a horse may cause him to kick or bite. Do not pass on the trail, you must stay in single file line. Always listen for directions from your instructor and act promptly. Do not mount or dismount without help, please wait until someone comes to hold your horse and help you. If you are having trouble alert your guide first so they can assist you.
