This program will cost $285 per week. We will have high expectations for our
Junior Counselors and would really like you to look inside yourself and make sure
this program is a good fit for you. While it is designed to be fun, there will also be

go through a modified interview process so we can get to know our candidates a
little better. Thank you again for your interest in our program and we look
    forward to meeting you!

  • About Kruz Kidz

    Camp Description
  • Kruz Kidz is a summer day camp held at Twin Lakes Church serving campers
entering 1st through 6th grade. Kruz Kidz offers 7 weeks of fun this summer!

  • Camp Vision
  • The goal of Kruz Kidz is to create a loving and encouraging environment for
children by sharing Christ through daily interactions. Kruz Kidz aims to reach our
community through a fun-filled program that allows children to experience God’s
love through engaging teaching, worship and positive interactions with our staff.

  • JUNIOR STAFF VISION
  • Keeping in line with the overall vision of Kruz Kidz, the goal of our junior
counseling program is to provide a fun summer experience for adolescents while
training and raising them up to be leaders. We strive to challenge our junior
counselors to rise above expectations and learn how to serve in a very fun and
positive ministry environment. Our hope is that each junior counselor will walk
away having learned something about work, service, and ministry as well as
increased love for children and the Lord.

    • Serving children and families in our community for Christ
    • Nurturing team spirit, sportsmanship, and togetherness
    • Developing strong leaders to affect the kingdom for Christ

  • JC Objectives
  • As we put together a staff (full-time and JC’s included) we strive to achieve the following:

    • Invite qualified individuals who can function well in a ministry environment
    • Employ a staff that will commit to a team
    • Emphasize responsibility and Christ-like representation
    • Cultivate fun and humor into our daily activities
    • Exemplify Biblical character and positive examples at all times
    • Find applicants who are willing to be silly and wacky all to make a child
      laugh
  • Your Role as a Junior Counselor

  • The role of each junior counselor is first and foremost to represent Christ and to support the mission and goals of Kruz Kidz. We expect ALL our camp leaders to be positive role models for campers in all matters of attitude and behavior. This means our junior counselors are expected to uphold the rules expected of campers and full time staff members. We do not tolerate matters such as profanity, smoking, drinking alcoholic beverages, and the use of illegal drugs or any other abusive substances by minors. We also do not permit the use of cell phones or other electronic devices in the presence of campers. A junior counselor complements the program in that they assist the staff in daily activities throughout the day. If you are selected for this program, you must act as a responsible role model for campers at all times as well as demonstrate respect for our full time staff members and parents of our campers.
