Adopt Your Spot NYC formally acknowledges your incredible contributions to creating a cleaner, healthier city for all New Yorkers. We want to champion your efforts and support you in any way possible.

Joining the program means that you pledge to maintain your adopted spot whenever you can and try to keep it free of litter for one year.

To support your efforts:
1. We can provide you with a starter kit of tools and supplies.
2. You’ll become part of an “Insiders” online community where you can connect with other like-minded New Yorkers and share ideas, support and words of praise.
3. Plus, we’ll also host a live event each year with leaders in the world of Sanitation and waste management in NYC.

About Your Spot
Please provide us with specific information about the spot you want to adopt. We encourage you to be very realistic about the area you choose. For example, you could select just one or two tree beds on your block, or the catch basin on your corner vs. the entire block.

Once your enrollment form is accepted, you will receive an email acknowledging the pledge you have made, along with additional information and instructions. If you have requested supplies - please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.

Please consider supporting us with any amount you can afford. Your donation will help cover our costs to provide supplies and expand the program. More spots adopted = a cleaner NYC!
