  • Scholarship Application

  • We at Grace United Methodist Church value education and look forward to the potential opportunity to support you in your endeavors. In addition to Academic Scholarships, there are two special scholarships: The Walter Mayer Ministerial Education Scholarship available to any applicant pursuing a career in Christian ministry and the Widner/Voorhis Music Scholarship available to a Howard County resident pursuing a career in music. 

    To be considered for the Academic Scholarships, you must be an active member or attendee/constituent of Grace UMC. Applicants for these scholarships should include information of their involvement with Grace. Your application must be filled out completely, have all necessary information attached, and be returned by the deadline of May 15, 2025. Applicants will not be considered if the application is incomplete or late. 

    All applicants will need access to a copy of the Social Principles of The United Methodist Church, available here. You are to consider one or more of these principles in your short essay described in #4 of the application. 

    Complete the application and submit no later than Thursday, May 15, 2024.

Transcripts can also be delivered to the church office at 212 West Walnut Street, Kokomo, IN 46901. Your application will not be considered without submitted transcripts.
