SANTA FE FILM INSTITUTE (SFFI) AND THE NORTHERN RIO GRANDE NATIONAL HERITAGE AREA (NRGNHA) WILL SUPPORT:
- New film projects of any duration/runtime
- Filmmakers with projects that are in production or post-production are welcome to apply.
ELIGIBILITY/REQUIREMENTS:
- Filmmakers residing in Santa Fe, Espanola, and Taos may apply (This should be filmmakers who reside in Santa Fe County, Rio Arriba County, or Taos County)
- Filmmakers residing elsewhere who have graduated from a high school in Santa Fe, Espanola, or Taos may apply (Santa Fe County, Rio Arriba County, or Taos County)
- Both narrative and documentary projects will be considered. (We would like to also encourage that the film topics are reflective of the cultures of northern New Mexico)
- Filmmakers of any age and background may apply.
- Films should be in pre-production or in production.
- Filmmakers may apply for up to $5,000.
- A $10,000 grant may be awarded to a filmmaker dedicated to creating a film made at or about the Los Luceros site.

The Department of Cultural Affairs is offering a tour of the Los Luceros site Wednesday, April 24th at 4PM for any prospective filmmakers interested in a tour. A Dept. of Cultural Affairs staff member will be on site to answer any questions. For more information, please call (505) 753-7273.
WHO IS NOT ELIGIBLE:
- You cannot apply if you do not reside in Santa Fe County, Rio Arriba County, or Taos County, or if you have not graduated from a high school in one of these counties.
