APPLICATION TERMS & CONDITIONS:

* Applicants must be at least 21 years of age *

Completing this application is a step in the process of acquiring a cat from Purrever Friends Rescue, but it does not guarantee you will be approved for the cat for which you are applying. Adoptions are NOT made on a first-come, first-served basis. Purrever Friends reserves the right to choose the most suitable candidate for adoption of a particular cat, taking into account the needs, personality, and temperament of the cat. After you complete this application, follow-up communication is necessary to ensure that the relationship between the cat and the adopter continues to be a good match.

Our process is: we will receive and review your application, conduct an in-person or phone interview, and do a meet and greet with you and the animal prior to determining approval. Please give us up to 48 hours to respond to your application.

*We perform vet checks and may perform home visits in the future. By completing this application, you agree to this condition. Please contact your vet as soon as possible to give them permission to speak with us.

*We will verify with your landlord that you are allowed to have pets; this may include requesting documentation from you.

*We require all of our cats to be spayed or neutered. If you adopt a cat or kitten from us before we can have the animal spayed or neutered, you must agree to submit proof of spay/neuter within an agreed-upon time period.

*We have a contract and will not home a cat with you without a signed contract.

*If approved for adoption, you must agree to keep us updated upon request with information about the well-being of the cat.

Agreement and Signature

By signing this document, the applicant authorizes Purrever Friends representatives to contact veterinarians and verify home ownership or contact the landlord, to verify that the statements made by the applicant with respect to Purrever Friends adoption criteria have been met. Applicants who provide inaccurate or false information on the Adoption Application will not be approved for adoption.
