The course will be approximately 1.4km (1400m) long so please ensure that all runners can run this distance.

Important information: 

·       The event is for Year 5/6 runners, however strong Year 4 runners may enter the Year 5 races

·       Spikes should NOT be worn

·       Medals will be awarded to top 3 from each race.

Competition format:                    Race 1: Year 5 Boys – est. 10:00am

                                                Race 2: Year 5 Girls –  est. 10:15am

                                                Race 3: Year 6 Boys – est. 10:30am

                                                Race 4: Year 6 Girls – est. 10:45am

·       Race numbers to be collected from the Registration Desk so please allow enough time to do this before the start of the race.

·       There is a fee of £4.00 to be paid on the day.

As parking is limited on the school site, Alternatively, you can park at Yate Shopping Centre (free 2 hours – Customers Parking) but please be aware that there is roughly a 10 minute to Yate Academy School.

At the end of each race a letter will be handed to athletes finishing in the top 10 inviting them to represent South Gloucestershire in the Inter Area event that will be held on Saturday 15th November 2025 at Ashton Park School.
