    Imagine Travel is expanding and we are looking for enthusiastic people with a love of travel to join our founding team of travel advisors.

We support the busy lifestyle of our clients and help them step outside of their vacation norms by creating hyper-custom vacations, and as such, our clients return time and time again.     For our founding agents, this simply means that you must believe that excellence is a state of mind. It also means that you have a commitment to the mission and vision of Imagine Travel and you act accordingly.  We serve, not sell, although this is a sales position!

    Our Founding Agents will have the opportunity to grow their own business while shaping the company.  For a small yearly fee, we provide you with the tools and training you need to become a successful travel advisor. You work out of your home office on your own schedule. You will book vacation travel for your clients through the Internet and via phone and receive commission. You will also enjoy other benefits by joining forces with our team of professional vacation planners.

    We welcome all candidates; those who would like to make this a full-time commitment as well as those who just love travel and are looking for some extra income on the side.  We have a fun and supportive atmosphere where we encourage each other as a team to work towards creating the best possible vacations for our clients.

    We provide personal training in marketing, procedures, and tips on generating leads and growing your business. We also provide opportunities to train on various products & travel vendors.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist clients in all aspects of the vacation planning process.
    • Research, plan, and manage travel arrangements from booking past client return.
    • Provide customer service for clients before, during, and after travel.
    • Build and grow your own book of clients (training provided).
    • Participate in marketing activities to drive leads and increase your sales (training provided).
    • Participation in team meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions to include goal setting.
    • Track and report commissions and performance data.
    • Willingness to participate in educational opportunities, where available.

     

    Qualifications:

    • An Associate’s, Bachelor’s or advanced degree is required.
    • Ideal candidates are extremely passionate about travel
    • Organized, detail-oriented self-starter.
    • Strong written and verbal communication.
    • Must have a computer, phone, and high-speed internet.
    • Must possess technology skills and have an understanding of Microsoft Suite
    • Must have basic understanding of social media platforms
    • Must be willing to work after hours to serve the clients.
    • Must be coachable and willing to learn.
    • Travel industry experience not required but considered a plus.
    • Must have traveled to at least 5 different places in the last 5 years.
    • The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, exceed client expectations, and keep our clients satisfied to promote recurring business
    • Experience in sales, hospitality or customer service is a plus, though not required
