We’re so excited to have you join us in creating an unforgettable, high-energy celebration for the Charlotte community. Your time, passion, and support help bring our mission to life—connecting thousands of attendees to culture, joy, and essential resources.

As a volunteer, you’ll play a key role across our vibrant festival experience, including:

Health & Wellness Village – connecting the community to vital healthcare services
Affordable Housing & Community Empowerment Village – providing pathways to stability and homeownership
Music Stage – live performances throughout the day
Cultural Dance Stage – interactive workshops and performances
Soul Expressions Art Walk – showcasing local artists
Marketplace – supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs
Family Fun Zone – activities and experiences for all ages
Calm Corner – a dedicated space for relaxation and reset

While volunteers are assigned where needed most, you’ll get to experience the full energy and impact of the festival.

Important Information:

All Volunteer Orientations will be held virtually. A meeting link will be shared by our Volunteer Manager with all registered volunteers.
Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete the registration and agree to the Volunteer Terms and Conditions.
For safety and planning purposes, we do not recommend volunteers under the age of 15.
Lunch and/or dinner will be provided for volunteers who work two or more shifts.

To participate, I am at least 15 years of age. Under 18 years of age, my parent or guardian must sign a Volunteer Terms & Conditions and Waiver form on my behalf. I understand that I am volunteering for a community event without compensation. The safety and security of all attendees of Charlotte Soul Fest is of the utmost importance. I will report any suspicious activity, dangerous situations, or other out-of-the-ordinary activities to festival staff, onsite security, safety patrol, or law enforcement. I will not engage in controversial conversations or activities. I will leave those encounters and notify a Festival Staff or onsite security. I agree that CSF staff, sponsors, partners, and supporters are held harmless of any injuries and damages incurred to my person/property or by situations I create and participate in.*

If I choose to participate no longer, I will notify the CSF Staff immediately. I agree to volunteer for a predetermined period and am expected to fulfill that commitment. As a volunteer, I must sign up for at least 4-hour shifts depending on the event's needs. There will be NO inappropriate fraternizing with festival staff, sponsors, partners, performers, talent, and VIP personnel. I will be at my designated site 30 minutes before my selected volunteer shift. If my plans change, I will notify the Volunteer Coordinator by phone call, text, or email at least 24 hours before my assigned date and time.*
