Welcome to Liberty Jump Team (LJT)! Once you submit this form, you will be added to our call roster and list as potential Airborne training candidates. We look forward to seeing you at our next Airborne Course.
Mission: Liberty Jump Team (LJT) conducts static-line and freefall Airborne Operations and Veteran outreach throughout the United States and Europe to support Veterans and their families by honoring and commemorating Veterans of all eras.
Membership Requirements: Must submit application with supporting documentation, waiver, and pay annual membership dues ($150).
Training Dates: LJT runs 2x courses a year (March and Sept/OCT). Dates are based on cadre availability.
Training Location: Corsicana, TX. About 1.5 hours from Dallas.
Course Daily Schedule: 0800-1700, jump days longer hours, 7x days
· Day 1: Classroom and ground training.
· Day 2-3: Ground training, parachute packing Day 4-6: Jumps
· Day 7: Make up day if needed, Graduation
Training Courses: We offer the Basic Airborne Course (BAC) and the Airborne Refresher Course (ARC). Both courses are blended together and share the same timeline, cadre and instruction. BAC is $1,500 and ARC is $1,100. BAC is for those who are not Airborne Qualified, you get 5x jumps. ARC is for those who are Airborne qualified but has been more than five years since your last jump, you get 3x jumps. The rest of the training is identical. Tuition covers, shared hotel room (can pay extra for single room), ground training, parachute packing instruction, equipment use, breakfast, lunch, one team dinner and a shirt and hat. No transportation is provided. ARC students can choose to pay for extra jumps.
Age Limit: There is no age limit. You must be at least 18 years old. You must be physically fit with no major health or mobility issues. You must provide a signed physical from your doctor or physician stating you are physically able to conduct airborne training.
Training Reservation Fees: Must pay $250 to reserve your spot ($150 membership dues and $100 course reservation). This deposit is non-refundable if you cancel within 30 days from first day of the course. Remaining tuition due 30 days prior to course start date. We will send you an invoice for the deposit, and the remaining tuition. If you would like to pay the total amount, please let us know and we'll amend your invoice.
BLUF: This is an expensive hobby.
Owning Equipment: Equipment is provided to students attending the LJT Basic Airborne Course (BAC) and Airborne Refresher Course (ARC). Upon graduation, you MUST purchase your own main and reserve parachute systems to continue jumping with the team. LJT members can help you find equipment. Average cost is $1,500-$2,500 for a complete system (main & reserve).
Uniforms: During training you must wear long sleeve shirt, pants and boots that cover the ankle, civilian attire is perfectly acceptable. Our standard uniform is M1942 with brown jump boots. You are authorized to wear badges, tabs and rank earned. However, any era of uniform or country is accepted equally.

Stolen Valor: Any member that intentionally misrepresents their military service will be removed from the team roster indefinitely (PNG). There is no need for ego on LJT. We value everyone's service equally. All we care about is that you are good at jumping and are fun to be around.
