  • Community Needs Assessment Survey

  • We want to hear from you - the communities of Arverne, Bayswater, Brookville, Edgemere, Laurelton, Springfield Gardens, Rosedale, and Far Rockaway.

Hester Street is launching this community survey funded by Council Member Brooks-Powers to better understand the community needs and priorities on a variety of issues such as land use, housing, open space, education, transportation and infrastructure. The information gathered from the survey will inform a district-wide needs assessment and future decision making at the local level.

Your survey input is critical for the success of this work.

This survey should take 5 minutes to complete and will be available until June 23. Please share it widely with others in your community. Your answers will always remain anonymous, so please share your honest thoughts. Need help? Email us at d31@hesterstreet.org.

    Public Workshop

After submitting the survey, join us for a District 31 Public Workshop on Saturday, June 15th from 3-6 PM at the Arverne East Nature Preserve to discuss improvements and share new ideas. Register at bit.ly/d31workshop.
