The Detroit Yearbook Project - Application Form

Thank you for your interest in participating in "Detroit Yearbook Project"! 📘

This series centers entirely around a few major factors: Detroit, the amazing people that contribute to it, and community and network building. It's about documenting Detroits finest; whether you currently live here, commute here for work, and/ or contribute to the city directly, this project aims to highlight what you do - that means YOU! Through photography and storytelling, my team and I aim to document the fine people of Detroit, like yourself, and highlight them and their talents in a yearbook format.

Through "picture day", participants are able to network with each other - share stories, enjoy refreshments, and overall, meet the other amazing people that contribute positively to the city. In addition to this, proceeds from this project will be donated to Detroit Hives 🐝 and Jim and Peter's Farm 👨🏼‍🌾, to help them continue their efforts to serving and educating the surrounding communities!
If you are an an artist, entrepreneur, therapist, teacher, dancer, tech guru, coach, director, inventor, etc., someone, literally ANYONE who inspires, motivates, and pushes the people within (or outside) of your community, I invite you to submit an application to be considered as a participant!

PLEASE READ:

THIS APPLICATION IS FOR VETTING & VERIFICATION PURPOSES (one person/ organization/ business per application). This is designed to weed out bots and exclude dangerous and harmful individuals from participating. If you are homophobic, xenophobic, violent, or exhibit toxic behavior that I, my team, or any participant may deem as harmful, dangerous, or may create conflict of interest, you are not and WILL NOT be welcome to participate in this project. The Detroit Yearbook Project team and I welcome everyone regardless of their gender identity, religion they follow (or not), their race, and sexual orientation.

Due to life events and the popularity of this project, applications can take 2 - 3 weeks to be processed.
