Bread Cubes for Sourdough StuffingA tasty take on a traditional favorite. Large bag of 1” bread cubes made from a classic sourdough loaf and toasted Seasoning packet contains: rubbed sage, thyme , celery salt, garlic powder You’ll need - Bollinger Breads toasted bread cubes - 1 sweet onion diced (yellow is fine too) - 4 stalks celery diced (or more) - 4 tbsp Butter - Salt and pepper to taste - 2 Eggs - 3 cup chicken broth - Bollinger breads seasoning packet with sage, thyme, celery salt, garlic powder Instructions: 1. Melt 4 TBSP butter on a pan and sauté your celery and onion for 8-10 min, season with salt and pepper to taste 2. Preheat oven to 350 3. Put bread cubes into your baking dish 4. Mix 3 cups broth, 2 eggs, and seasoning packet ( can add more salt and pepper here if you like) 5. Pour broth mixture over bread cubes and stir to mix - let sit for 10 min 6. Gently stir in the celery and onions 7. Bake for 35-45 min or until golden brown on top - (optional stir halfway through) 8. Other notes: adding sausage makes this a more savory and protein packed dish, can be prepared in advance and warmed in oven
