    Thank you for your interest in the Summer School for Global Leadership 2024 (the School). Before starting your application, you are strongly advised to read through the following instructions.

    Early Bird: 23 June 2024 (Sun) HK$5,700 

    Scholarship: 23 June 2024 (Sun) Participate at a price of HK$3,600

    Regular: 7 July 2024 (Sun) HK$7,200

    (Each referral discount = $100, maximum at $500)

    Writing Your Application

    • The application form consists of 8 parts in total.
    • The application form is estimated to take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
    • You are advised to navigate between parts before starting your application, as you will NOT be able to save the application progress.
    • The application must be submitted with all necessary parts filled in and copies of relevant supporting documents attached.
    • You are strongly advised to draft your personal statement essays separately before posting them on the application form.

     

    Uploading Supporting Documents

    • You may be required to upload supporting documents in each of the following sections:
      • Academic Background (max size 2MB): Proof of your English examination result
      • Track Record in Leadership Abilities (max size 5MB): Relevant proof (if applicable)
      • Other Awards / Scholarship / Achievements (max size 5MB): Relevant proof (if applicable)
      • Scholarship Application (max size 2MB): See Special Notes below
    • Only ONE combined PDF file is accepted for each of the above sections.
    • After each successful upload, an "X" button will appear next to the uploaded file. You may delete the uploaded file by clicking the “X” button.

     

    Before Submission

    • You will be able to review all the information you have filled in before confirming your submission.
    • You will not be able to proceed unless all required fields have been completed. Please follow the instructions provided and fill in all compulsory items as indicated.

     

    After Submission

    • You will be directed to a thank you page.
    • You will receive a confirmation email upon submission. If you do not receive it within 24 hours, please contact us at sgl@leadershipinstitute.hk. 

     

    Special Notes to Scholarship Applicants

    • Partial scholarships are provided for limited outstanding applicants with excellent track records in artificial intelligence/sustainability as well as leadership abilities and positions held in extra-curricular activities.
    • The criteria for sponsorship application are based on both academic merit and financial needs.
    • You may also provide the application result of the School Textbook Assistance Scheme or a copy of the Certificate of Comprehensive Social Security Assistance for proving your financial needs.
    • Scholarship recipients can join this programme at a price of HK$3,600 (meals not included).
    • Scholarship applications must be submitted on or before 23 June 2024 (Sun). Shortlisted applicants will be invited to join a face-to-face interview.

  • PART VI: SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

I hereby authorise The HKFYG Leadership Institute (the "Institute"), The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (the "HKFYG) and related personnel the irrevocable and transferrable right to use the above personal information to register as an HKFYG member and/or HKFYG volunteer, including but not limited to easymember.hk and easyvolunteer.hk.  

    ii. I understand the Institute and the HKFYG shall use reasonable efforts to protect personal information submitted by you in connection with the Institute and HKFYG service and shall use such information in accordance with the privacy policy.
