USC Salkehatchie STEM have been able to reach over 1500 students and community members a month this school year 2024-25 in our 5-county region of Bamberg, Barnwell, Allendale, Hampton, and Colleton.

All our services are FREE thanks to our WORC II Renewal grant through the Savannah River Community Reuse Organization, the Department of Energy and the National Nuclear Security Administration.

For our public and private school Math and Science teachers we offer Hands-on STEM Bags to check out for weekly pick up and drop off by our STEM Ambassadors. We provide the consumables and non- consumables are returned at pick up.

Snap Circuits$ Free

Petoi is the maker of lifelike bionic robot pets for adults and kids, with applications in robotics, STEM, coding, AI education, and human companionship. The robots are open source, high-performance, remote/app-controlled, and highly programmable. The robotics kits are built on top of Arduino and ESP32.
