Fifteen x Fifteen submission form

Blowfish Glass Gallery is excited to announce 'Fifteen x Fifteen', an exhibition celebrating the boundless possibilities of glass. We are searching for 30 glass artists to showcase their creations at our gallery in Stourbridge from August 23rd to September 23rd, 2024.

The Challenge:

The challenge is to create a unique piece of glass art no larger than 15cm (H) x 15cm (W) x and/or 15cm (D). We encourage submissions across all glass processes, from Flameworking and Hot Sculpting to Pâte-de-Verre and Stained Glass. We accept group collaborations and 2-dimensional artworks, with the concept of being no larger than the aforementioned measurements.

This compact format encourages an exciting opportunity to experiment with new ideas and techniques to push the limits of your artistic vision.

Please make sure to include the following when submitting your artwork:

- 1-3 high-resolution images of your artwork from different angles. Each image should be no more than 16 MB.

- If submitting a proposal, please upload it as a PDF.

- Include the title of your artwork and the techniques used.

- Provide a brief 30-word description of your artwork for the exhibition catalogue.

- Also, include a 200-word artist bio and work description

Gallery information:

Blowfish Gallery takes a 40% commission on all sales.
The Artist is responsible for sending the work to the gallery

The gallery is responsible for returning the artwork to the artist if it is unsold.
We have a loose price bracket for Gallery Prices from £250-£2500.

Important Information:

Submission Deadline: Thursday, May 30th, 2024, 12 AM BST.
The exhibition is open from Friday, 23rd August 2024, to Monday, 23rd September 2024.
International Artists are encouraged to use DHL or FedEx to ship artwork.
Mark shipments as "Temporary Export/Exhibition Loan Items" for exhibition purposes only.
