Gloss Beauty Brand Bridal Terms and Conditions This agreement outlines the terms and conditions for professional hair and makeup services provided by Gloss Beauty Brand (“Gloss”) for the client (“Client”). By engaging Gloss for your event, you agree to the following: 1. Services Gloss agrees to provide professional hair and makeup services for the specified event, including the date, time, and location as outlined in the booking details. 2. Payment • Booking Fee: A non-refundable booking fee of $200 is required to secure your booking. This fee guarantees your date with your assigned artist and confirms your commitment to the services. • Service Total: The Client is responsible for the Service Total as contracted. This amount must be paid in full no later than 48 hours before the event date. Failure to settle the balance on time may result in the cancellation of services. • Assistant Fee: For tight timelines, an additional assistant fee of $150 per assistant will be applied to your balance to ensure timely services. This allows our team to utilize assistants to help reduce service times. 3. Cancellation Policy • The Client may cancel their services by providing written notice to Gloss via email at least 90 days before the scheduled event date. Cancellations made after this period will incur a charge of the full balance. • The $200 booking fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellation or rescheduling. 4. Punctuality • All members of the bridal party receiving services must arrive punctually and adhere to all preparation instructions provided by Gloss (e.g., clean, dry hair and a clean, moisturized face). • Delays caused by tardiness or failure to follow preparation instructions may result in reduced services or service cancellations without refund. 5. Additional Fees • Travel Fees: Locations beyond [30 miles] from the assigned Gloss artist’s base will incur a travel fee. • Early Start Fees: Services commencing before [7:00 AM] may be subject to an early start fee of $75 per scheduled artist. • Add-Ons: Additional services requested on the event day will be accommodated only if time permits and will incur extra charges on-site. Willingness to perform these services will be at the artist’s discretion. 6. Liability • The Client must disclose any allergies, sensitivities, or skin conditions prior to the commencement of services. Gloss is not liable for any allergic reactions, skin conditions, or complications arising from the use of products or services provided. • Open Wounds and Skin Conditions: The Client must inform Gloss of any open wounds, cuts, or skin conditions prior to the commencement of services. Gloss reserves the right to refuse service in cases where the condition may pose a risk to the Client’s health or safety, or where it may affect the quality of the services provided. Gloss is not liable for any complications or adverse reactions arising from the application of products over open wounds or compromised skin. 7. Weather and Environmental Factors Gloss is not responsible for the effects of weather or environmental conditions on hair or makeup after services have been completed. Clients are encouraged to prepare for potential weather impacts. • Steaming: Please do not steam in the same space we are performing hair and makeup services. All clothes must be steamed prior to our arrival; our artists will not be held liable for the effects of steaming dresses in the same space. 8. Force Majeure In the event that your Gloss artist is unable to perform services due to unforeseen circumstances such as emergencies, illness, or natural disasters, a replacement Gloss artist will be provided. An emergency backup plan for your wedding is always in place to ensure client satisfaction. 9. Use of Images The Client grants permission for Gloss to use photographs of the completed hair and/or makeup for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, or other marketing materials. 10. Safe Working Environment The Client is responsible for providing a safe work environment for the artist(s). Artist(s) reserve the right to stop service and immediately leave the premises if they feel harassed, threatened, unsafe in any way, or if illegal activity takes place. No refund is due for unperformed services. 11. Indemnification The Client agrees to indemnify and hold Gloss harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the Client’s failure to disclose, and skin issues, allergies, or relevant health information. 12. Dispute Resolution Any disputes arising from this agreement shall first be attempted to be resolved through mediation, and if not resolved, through binding arbitration in, South Carolina. 13. Governing Law This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina. 14. Amendment These terms and conditions may be amended only in writing, signed by both parties. By signing this agreement, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by the terms and conditions set forth herein.
