Gloss Beauty Brand Pageant Hair & Makeup Terms & Conditions By submitting this form and securing a deposit for services with Gloss Beauty Brand, you agree to the following contract terms: 1. Booking & Payments • A non-refundable retainer of $100 is required to reserve your appointment. • Payment in full must be received 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. • Payments are accepted via credit card or Venmo @glossbeautybrand. 2. Gratuity • A 20% gratuity is strongly encouraged, reflecting appreciation for your artist’s time and talent. 3. Cancellations & Refunds • Cancellations made within 90 days of your appointment will result in forfeiture of the $100 retainer. • Cancellations within a 60-day window or no-shows will incur a charge for the full service amount. • In cases of unforeseen circumstances, rescheduling options may be offered at our discretion. 4. Timeliness • Clients must arrive on time; being more than 5 minutes late may result in reduced services. • We cannot guarantee full service if you are not prompt. 5. Service Environment • Please ensure the prep area is clean, well-lit, spacious, and has access to an outlet. • No additional guests are allowed in the service area unless approved in advance. 6. Client Responsibilities • Clients are responsible for following all prep instructions and in-chair guidelines provided by Gloss Beauty Brand. • Arrive with clean, dry hair and any necessary items ready for your appointment. 7. Artist Availability • If your requested artist is not available on your date or cannot cover your event, a Gloss artist will be provided. Please note that our professional artists typically book out in advance, so on-location services on popular dates are very limited. 8. Photographs & Marketing • We may take behind-the-scenes photos/videos for promotional use. By booking, you consent to this unless notified otherwise. 9. Liability • Gloss Beauty Brand is not liable for allergic reactions; clients must disclose all allergies prior to their appointment. • Clients are encouraged to perform a patch test for any new products prior to the event. 10. Dispute Resolution • Both parties agree to seek resolution through mediation before pursuing any legal remedies. • Disputes arising from these terms will be governed by the laws of the state in which the services are provided. 11. Force Majeure • Gloss Beauty Brand is not liable for failures to perform due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, acts of government). 12. Amendments • Gloss Beauty Brand reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to clients in writing. By submitting this payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
