• Upload below 10 images of your work. Five works must have been created in the past 5 years, and five completed at any time.
• Image files must be labeled: LastName-ImageNumber-Title-Medium
• Image files must measure a minimum of 2000 px / 72 dpi / 5 MB maximum
• Submissions must utilize a form of hand pulled traditional printmaking media as their primary technique. Traditional printmaking techniques considered for jury are: intaglio (etching, drypoint, aquatint, engraving, mezzotint), relief (linocut, woodcut, wood-engraving, collagraph), planography (lithography), and stencil (serigraphy, silkscreen, screen-printing, pochoir). Photogravure, photo etching, photolithography, photopolymer and other photo transferred images into a traditional printmaking matrix are eligible as well as images that incorporate viscosity, embossing and paper-making.
• You may include no more than three: monoprints, monotypes, one-of- one, digital-processed images, or letterpress prints, the remainder of your images must represent editions and be done in any of the traditional printmaking techniques described above.
• Presentation: Images must show the complete work including plate mark or image edge. Full bleed prints should include edge of paper in image. Poorly taken images (crooked, hazy, under or over exposed) will not be considered by the jury.
• If submitting artwork that has used artificial intelligence (AI) you must disclose this in your medias used.
• Any failure to follow these requirements and instructions may disqualify your application.
• Upon acceptance and first membership dues payment, we will use images, biography, artist statement, and web listing, from your application, to set up your artist page. We will notify you when this is published in case you would like to request edits.
