YOU MUST BE:
- A MILITARY VETERAN
- AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE TO APPLY
- LIVE WITHIN MARION COUNTY OR THE CONTIGUOUS COUNTIES
BEFORE BEING APPROVED, THESE THINGS MUST BE COMPLETED:
1. Animals in your home must be vetted. We will verify with your vet that the below is up to date. The K9s for Veterans Foster Program may be able to provide assistance with getting this completed, if needed.
  1. Fully vaccinated:
    
    Dogs - parvo/distemper, bordatella, rabies
    
    Cats - rabies
  2. Spayed/neutered
  3. Dogs must be on heartworm preventative
2. IF YOU RENT: Before being considered as a foster, we must have your pet lease policy, please email it to julie@tailsandtrailsfoundation.org immediately after applying.
