    Thank you for dancing with us at the Southwest International Folk Dance Institute (SWIFDI) New Mexico Camp.

    Full camp includes Thursday lunch through Sunday lunch; the weekend option starts after lunch on Friday. 

    Youth will be roomed with each other, if possible. Children share parents' room; a separate bed is not guaranteed. If a single parent registers with a Child, the single parent must sign up with the "Single" option to use the extra bed in the room for the Child. Otherwise, the single parent will be considered at the "Double" room rate, and an adult roommate will be placed in the same room.  Children's registration includes meals and full-day Children's Program.

  • Dietary Considerations

    Please let us know if anyone listed on this registration form has any dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate them within reason. Vegetarian options will be available at every meal.

  • Housing Requests

    Late-night after-parties and sing-alongs, climbing stairs to your room, and incidental noise like exit doors are some of the many considerations when it comes to staying at camp. Please let us know if anyone on this registration form has any particular requests and we will do our best to accommodate them within reason. Please note that this does not guarantee placement.

  • By providing this registration I/we understand that:

    1. Images of camp participants (both over and under 18 years of age) may be used in the future for the purposes of New Mexico Camp dance documentation, publicity, or promotion of International Folk Dancing.
    2. Folk dancing is a physical activity that may involve risk of personal injury. As participant(s), I/we are in adequate physical condition to agree that SWIFDI and the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology (New Mexico Tech) are not responsible for this risk.

     

    Cancellation: If you cancel at any time before July 1, 2024, you will receive a full refund, minus the PayPal charge if applicable. If you cancel between July 1-10, 2024, SWIFDI will retain a $75/adult cancellation fee plus any fees incurred if payment was made via PayPal. No refunds will be made if registration is cancelled after July 10.

  • Please double-check contact info: Once we receive your registration and payment, we will send the confirmation letter and any other important updates to your email address, {c1-email}. If this address is incorrect, please go back and correct it—we may not be able to contact you otherwise!

    This form is for paying through paper check or by using Zelle. If you wish to pay via PayPal, please use the other form available at swifdi.org/register-here.

     

    You may choose to pay the full amount now; or, just a deposit ($100 minimum per adult tuition, plus payment for all additional T-shirts and Video -- everything under the "Extras" section above), and the balance by July 1, 2024. Please note that you are NOT registered for our camp until your full payment is received, and that you will not be considered for housing, etc. until that time.  Full payment is due (postmarked) by July 1, 2024. For registrations made after July 1,2024, payment is due in full.


    Cancellations: If you cancel between July 1-10, 2024, SWIFDI will retain a $75/adult cancellation fee plus the small fee incurred (~$5-$10) if payment was made via PayPal. No refunds will be made if registration is cancelled after July 10, 2024.

    • How to pay via paper check 

    • To pay via paper check: We prefer that you submit this form online. After submitting online, you should receive an automatic confirmation email with the total amount you owe; this amount is also printed at the top of this page. Although it is not absolutely necessary, it doesn't hurt to include your printed registration in the envelope with your check.  If you are completely averse to the online registration form, you may also print the registration form and send via snail mail with your check. Make your check payable to SWIFDI and mail it to:

    • How to pay via Zelle 

    • What is Zelle? It is an online payment service somewhat like PayPal, except that it is integrated directly into many banks' and credit unions' online banking, making it highly safe and secure. Additionally, we are not charged a fee for receiving a payment through Zelle.  Your registration is fully refundable until July 1, 2024. From July 1-10, 2024, you will be charged a $75 cancellation fee if you cancel your registration. After July 10, 2024, no refunds will be made.

       

      To pay via Zelle: 

      1. Submit this form. You should receive an automatic confirmation response email from us which will include the total amount you owe; you can also find that number at the top of this page.
      2. If you don't already have a Zelle account, figure out if your financial institution offers it directly through your online banking. You can most likely find this information by searching through your bank or credit union's website, or by going to zellepay.com and using their search tool. If your financial institution does partner with Zelle, you can usually set up your Zelle account through your online banking. If using Zelle for the first time, some banks have a daily and/or per transaction limit which may require you to make multiple payments. (We are not online banking experts; if you need help with this step, please call your financial institution directly and they should be happy to help.)
      3. Find and set up SWIFDI as a recipient. From within the Zelle section of your online banking, search for "nmaugustcamp@gmail.com". Our name will be an abbreviated version of Southwest International Folk Dance Institute. If you are unsure whether you have found the right account, PLEASE contact us. Once you send a payment through Zelle, it is extremely hard to reverse, if payment went to the incorrect recipient.
      4. Send your Zelle payment to us. The Registrar and/or Treasurer will confirm with you when we have received your payment.

    • If something goes wrong when you try to submit your registration and you do not receive an automatic email from JotForm with all submitted values from your form within a day: please first check your junk folder, and then email nmaugustcamp@gmail.com with your name and date/time when you tried to submit your registration. We will try to get it sorted out as quickly as possible! Thank you for your patience, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
