      • RULES

        1. Each team will consist of a maximum of 6 people

        2. The truck will be pulled over a distance of 25 metres

        3. Each team will be given 3 attempts (rounds) to pull the truck over the 25 metres in the fastest time.  * The number of rounds is subject to the number of teams participating

        4. The fastest time for each team will be used to determine the winner

        5. Enclosed shoes must be worn but no spiked shoes or rugby boots are allowed

        6. All loose items must be deposited in the basket provided before team members enter the truck pull area.  These include but are not limited to phones, drinks, sunglasses, hats etc

        7. The competing team will line up on the finish line and wait for the adjudicator to signal the start with… Ready, Set, and an air-horn will sound.  The competitors will then run to the rope and start pulling the truck.  Timing begins at the sound of the horn and continues until the bull bar of the truck has reached the finish line when the airhorn will sound again.  If a team fails to complete the truck pull in 3 minutes, the airhorn will sound to signal the end of the attempt and the time recorded will be 3 minutes.

        8. If a competing team runs for the rope before the air horn has sounded, a 5 second penalty will be applied to their time.

        9. Each team must nominate a captain / spokesperson and put forward a team name

        10. Team members must be the same people for each round. Wrist bands will be given to each team member.  These are not to be removed until the event is completely finished

        11. The adjudicator’s decision is final.

        12. Unsportsmanlike behaviour will be grounds for disqualification

        13. Team members must be at least 18 years old to participate

        14. If a team is due to compete in a round and one of their member can’t be located, the team can choose to go without the missing member or wait until the end of the round to locate the missing member.  If the missing member is not found before the end of that round, the team will forfeit that round.

        15. All Women's Team Competitors must be born female and idenify as female.
