Project Description
Bee hotels are the insect equivalent of a birdhouse. These structures provide nesting spaces for certain solitary bees and wasps. Participants will fill a premade barn wood hotel with hollow reeds, holes drilled in a wooden block and other natural ingredients to provide nesting. All materials provided. This is a hands-on project for children age 5-15. An adult must be in attendance with their children. Note: when registering for this event, please use your name and email (parent/guardian). Fee is $10 per child to cover cost of materials. Please indicate number of children attending
