Welcome to the "Europe in my region" social media service!

This form grants you access to the financial envelopes provided by DG REGIO to Managing Authorities and National Coordinators as part of the services offered under the “Europe in my region” initiative. It aims to facilitate the promotion of your social media activities related to co-funded projects and #EUinmyregion.

The service includes two main components: budget allocation and creative support. The budget allocation allows you to run paid ads on Facebook and/or Instagram via Meta Business Manager, supporting mini campaigns, event promotions, or other targeted initiatives. Meanwhile, the creative support offers assistance in branding and editing visuals for your social media platforms, including static visuals, animated GIFs, and video adaptations tailored to your needs based on your own/existing visuals/materials.

To apply for this service, please ensure that your request aligns with the aforementioned criteria. Once submitted, it will be processed by DG REGIO. Upon approval, it will be managed by specialists from the WPP consortium (responsible for the “Europe in my region” initiative), who will provide tailored guidance accordingly.

The approximate timing required before receiving a budget envelope is at least 5
business days but the processing time may extend in the case of a high volume of requests. Therefore, we recommend submitting your request at least 3 weeks prior to your launch date to ensure timely preparation of your budget envelop.
For creative assets, it varies depending on the number and type of assets requested. Rest assured, we will process your requests as swiftly as possible...

Please note that the service is available throughout the year on a continuous basis. You can also request top-ups or submit multiple requests, pending exhaustion of your previous envelope.

Please note that the budget provided to run this campaign will be granted through one of our ad accounts.

We have one ad account per EU Member State and therefore, each one of them is shared between users from the same country. When setting-up your campaigns on the ad account, please be careful not to overspend the total budget allocated to you as this would be taken from another user’s envelope. To avoid this, please refer to the recommendations shared with you when receiving your budget (i.e. use the “Lifetime budget” option).

If this is your first time using this form and making a budget request through the new process, we kindly ask you to indicate this in the question below and follow the next steps. This will provide us with the relevant information to grant you access to the ad accounts

We can offer to brand and package your visuals for your social media promotion. Based on your existing pictures or video material, we can provide you with static visuals, animated GIFs or video adaptations in various formats tailored to your needs (square/feed format, vertical/story/reel format).

Please note that as part of this creative support, we highly recommend to use your own pictures and video material to preserve a genuine feeling in the assets we will create for you.

The estimated time of delivery will depend on the specific request (number/type of assets) and moment when the material needed for production is received.
