Videography - film parade events, marketing content, and editing videos

Street Team/Tik Tok Management - develope content for Tik Tok and social media. Establishing a presence and creating content about and for AADP’s culture, social media and African American youth in the community
Social Media Management - create and maintain consistent and relevant content on our Instagram and Facebook accounts
Newsletter Assistant - create engaging topics about the local Harlem community and parade partnerships as well as updates regarding AADP
Public Relations - partner with AADP Executive Team to create strategies to protect and strengthen AADP's brand and image
Grant Writing - research, draft, and submit proposals that help AADP receive grant funding
Pre-Parade and Parade Operations
Block Coordinator - check in parade participants on your assigned block and work with your Head Block Coordinator to place them in order. Be the main point of contact for any questions or issues participants on your block may have. Maintain constant communication with AADP Parade Operations Leaders to ensure your block is in order and ready to go onto the parade route. Once your assigned block is cleared, assisting with parade route flow and getting other blocks out onto the route
VIP Host/Hostess - assist at the VIP tent at the beginning of the parade route on 111th Street. Check in all Parade honorees and representatives and provide sashes and block placement upon arrival. Give out water and snacks for our VIP guests. Assist with providing parade participants with their block assignments. Provide parking passes for VIP guests. Being a point of contact for questions or issues
Reviewing Stand Coordinator - this consists of two roles: Check-In role will stand outside of the stands and check-in VIP guests, sponsors, family, friends and seniors of the community who may have tickets or are on our guest list. The Seniors Assistant role helps distribute food boxes and water to seniors in the stands, assist with making sure their view of the parade route is not obstructed and any needs they may have during the parade. This role will also pass out leftover food boxes and water to other people in the stands once the seniors are taken care of. Both roles will help with directing people to the trash bins location and assist with cleaning up throughout the event
Event Producer/Co Producer - assist with the Pre-Parade show production. Soundcheck, assisting the head of entertainment and production with show order, flow and other production needs. Assist with performer needs. Maintaining constant contact with the team down at the beginning of the parade route to make sure the timing of the pre-parade show and the start of the parade are aligned
Security - maintain the safety of all parade participants and bystanders. Work with AADP Leaders, Block Coordinators, and NYPD to ensure smooth operations throughout the event(s). De-escalate any concerns and issues with parade participants and bystanders
