2026 FUSION Scholarship Application

Scholarships will range from $200 and $600 to help as many makers as possible. You do not need to be a member of FUSION to apply. APPLICATIONS CLOSE on SEPTEMBER 30, 2026
FUSION Scholarships support clay or glass artists wishing to further their education and offer support where it is most needed. Workshops, residencies, courses, formal education programs through universities and colleges, travel assistance, studio purchases and research projects may be included for consideration.

Before completing your application, please note:
- You must be a resident of Ontario.
- You do not need to be a FUSION member, but we invite your consideration in joining the clay and glass community for the support FUSION offers.
- You must apply before the event you are planning to attend.
- Individuals may only receive one FUSION scholarship in any 24-month period.
- Include proof of expenses and/or costs related to the activity proposed in your application.
- Your social insurance number for amounts of $500 and over may be required. FUSION will contact you.
- An update (one paragraph in length, or approximately 250 words) describing your experience after completion of the program and 3-5 images of work resulting from or created after the program you pursued, if applicable.
- Your images and information may be shared publicly if you are selected as a recipient.
- We invite you to share the news on your social media and tag #fusionclayglass.

Entrants are required to submit an artist statement (500 words maximum) in Microsoft Word (.doc) or Adobe PDF (.pdf) format. Please note that this may appear online.

IMAGE SPECIFICATIONS and HOW TO LABEL YOUR IMAGE FILES

1. Submit up to 5 works created in the past two years with a resolution of 300 DPI or higher, 4 x 6 inches minimum, rectangular format. FUSION will only accept images in JPEG digital format with no compression. One close-up detail image may also be uploaded alongside the full image, if available.

Please photograph work on neutral, non-textured backgrounds.

2. Save the image in the correct orientation.

3. Use the following file name format to name your files:
