2025 FUSION Scholarship Application

FUSION is offering a total of $3500 in 2025 for clay and glass artists to grow their skills, experience new opportunities and add to their studios. Scholarships will range from $200 and $500 to help as many makers as possible. You do not need to be a member of FUSION to apply.
The FUSION Scholarship Fund provides funding for clay or glass artists wishing to further their education and offer support where it is most needed. Workshops, summer courses, formal education programs through universities and colleges, travel assistance, studio purchases and research projects may be included for consideration.

Before completing your application, please note:
- You must be a resident of Ontario.
- You must apply before the event you are planning to attend.
- Individuals may only receive one FUSION scholarship in any 24 month period.
- To receive funds, successful candidates need to provide:
1. Copies of receipts for expenses related to the activity proposed in your application.
2. Social insurance number (SIN) for T4A for amounts $500 and over.
3. A report/update (one paragraph in length, or approximately 250 words) describing your experience after completion of program; and
4. 3-5 images of work resulting from or created after the program you pursued, if applicable.

IMAGE SPECIFICATIONS and HOW TO LABEL YOUR IMAGE FILES

1. Submit 5 JPG images of work created in the past two years with a resolution of 300 DPI or higher, 4 x 6 inches minimum, rectangular format. FUSION will only accept images in JPEG digital format with no compression. One close-up detail image may also be uploaded alongside the full image, if available.

Please photograph work on neutral, non-textured backgrounds.

2. Save the image in the correct orientation.

3. Photograph work against a neutral background.

4. Use the following file name format to name your files:
