PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:

To enhance awareness of research occurring within NH and the Niagara Community;
To provide participants with an understanding of the basic components of a learning health system and why it is important for NH and the Niagara Community;
To stimulate further collaborations and partnership to support innovative research at NH and within the Niagara Community;
To highlight current and future research training and mentorship opportunities for staff, students, physicians, trainees and partners.

Physician Specialists: The Niagara Health Research in Progress Rounds is a self-approved group learning activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (3.75 credits).

Family Physicians: This 1 credit per hour Group Learning activity - Niagara Health Hospital and Regional Rounds - has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Ontario Chapter for up to 3.75 Mainpro+ certified credits.
