Each session lasts 2.5 hours (including breaks). In all sessions, we promote safe and responsible riding, as well as an awareness of different signs that young riders may come across on trails. The age ranges we state below are a guide, but will be informed by your child's experience and confidence on a bike.
Junior sessions
In junior sessions, greater focus is placed on the foundational skills and techniques of safe mountain biking. We recommend these sessions for little Mudders between the ages of 6 and 10. All junior sessions will take place at Woodrow's bike track.
Advanced sessions
In advanced sessions, greater focus is placed on building stamina, as well as specific techniques required to complete longer and more challenging courses. We recommend these sessions for little Mudders between the ages of 9 and 13. Sessions will initially take place at Woodrow bike track, and will include more challenging sections of track. Later sessions may progress to a local trail.
