Agriculture Business of the Year This award recognizes an outstanding agricultural business that has been in operation for over three years and has demonstrated excellence in providing agricultural-based products or services. Agriculture is a vital industry to our region, and this award aims to honor a business that has made significant contributions to the agriculture community. To be eligible, the business must have been in operation for three years or longer.
Healthcare Professional of the Year This award recognizes individuals, teams, or departments within the healthcare service area who have demonstrated exemplary patient care, dedication to their profession, and significant contributions to improving health outcomes and quality of life for patients. Eligible nominees should have been in the medical field for five years or longer, showcasing their commitment and expertise in serving the healthcare needs of the community.
Heavy Hitter Award The Heavy Hitter Award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated exceptional advocacy and support for small businesses within the service area. This award celebrates individuals who have made significant contributions to the growth, success, and sustainability of small businesses through their leadership, advocacy, mentorship, and collaborative efforts.
Legacy Business of the Year This prestigious award recognizes a long-standing family owned and operated business that has been in continuous operations for 20 or more years. These businesses serve as the cornerstone of their community instilling values in tradition, resilience, and dedication to excellence across generations.
Rising Star Award The Rising Star Award recognizes a newer small business that has shown potential, innovation and growth within the service area. This award celebrates the achievements of a rising star in the business community and highlights their contributions to economic development, job creation and community vitality. To be eligible for this award, business must have been in operation for three years or less.
The Hospitality Award The Hospitality Award celebrates the diverse businesses and individuals who contribute to vibrant hospitality landscape within the service area, enriching the lives of residents and visitors. Examples: Food and Beverage, Entrainment, Events, Lodging and Recreation. To be eligible for this award, business must have been in operation for 2 years or longer.
Young Entrepreneur of the Year This award recognizes an exceptional young entrepreneur who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation, and business acumen in successfully owning and operating a small business for more than three years. To be eligible for this award, individuals must be under the age of 40 as of August 1. 2024.
