  • Cooperation With Requested Content

We do offer general correspondence through social media comments, inboxes, voice and text messages however, these forms of communication are considered unofficial and all the terms listed under Phone & Video Consultation also apply.

To ensure project clarity, accuracy, and professional quality, our team may request information, files, photos, and content in specific formats. While understanding these requests can be unfamiliar for those outside the design field, your cooperation is essential. We'll gladly explain any requirements and answer your questions. If we don't receive the necessary information within 90 days (unless otherwise agreed upon), we may need to pause or terminate the project due to lack of cooperation.

We also reserve the right to files and content that are not sent in the requested formats. We do not accept screenshots of text, low quality photographs, or any other file type we consider to be unprofessional or unusable but will always give our clients ample time to resubmit files and content when needed.

Should a client violate these standards, we reserve the right to terminate the project and client relationship without a refund.

For any formal complaints, we will provide the email address to our legal department.

  • 6.How We Handle "Turn-Around Time"

  • At Socialight Creative Agency, we understand the importance of timely project completion. While we strive to prioritize and expedite each client's work, please note that turnaround times are estimates and not guaranteed. Factors such as project complexity, client cooperation, and unforeseen circumstances may impact the timeline. We commit to transparent communication regarding expected delivery dates and any potential delays that may arise. Our goal is to deliver high-quality results within a reasonable timeframe while maintaining the integrity of our work.

  • 7. File or Link Delivery & Storage

  • Final files, including completed projects, will be delivered to clients digitally via email or other agreed-upon methods upon final proofreading and approval by the client and are considered the property of the client with the exception of our portfolio use and if full payment has not yet been made.

Clients are responsible for storing project files securely post-delivery, as we do not offer long-term file storage services.

Once the project is finalized and delivered, clients assume full responsibility for any sharing or distribution of project files. We advise clients to exercise caution when sharing files to avoid unauthorized use or distribution.

  • 8.Revisions

  • Clients are welcomed to review their project and reply via email with desired revisions within one week of project delivery unless otherwise agreed.

We ask that clients send very specific instructions in bullet point format with no paragraphical text and without vague speech, insinuations, opinions or constructive criticism. We only accept instructions to ensure clear and accurate application of the clients request.

Failure to comply with our standard of communication could cause your project to be paused or delayed.

If a client doesn't respond within requested time, they may be subject to additional wait times due to new client intake.

  • 9. How Copyright and Portfolio Usage Work

  • Client Ownership

Upon full payment and delivery of the work, clients will own the copyright to their project(s) to the fullest extent permitted by law.

    Our Portfolio Rights

We reserve the right to showcase all completed work, including digital files, prints, services rendered, and submitted testimonials, on our physical and digital platforms, and with our affiliated brands. This right to showcase the work extends even after copyright ownership is transferred to the client, and the client waives the right to request a cease and desist order for such use.

    Exception

This right of continued portfolio use does not apply to projects created under a signed "blind label" agreement.

    Promotional Agreements

Clients participating in promotional agreements must tag our social media handles or website URL when sharing their projects online and they are not permitted to allow other designers to modify our work and then claim it as their own. Should a new designer want to use brand elements or take over existing websites, our written permission is required.

Deviation From Our Professional Design Expertise

In the rare event that a client insists on design elements that lie outside our established expertise or significantly depart from the agreed-upon scope, we maintain the right to abstain from taking credit for the final product. This policy is in place to uphold both client satisfaction and the integrity of our design portfolio. Should a promotional client choose not to align with our professional direction, their partnership may be subject to termination.

    Modification of Our Original Work

Clients may not modify our original work. If modifications are desired, the client must obtain our written permission before modifying the delivered project(s).

  • 10.When You Should Share Your Files

  • Clients are encouraged to review all project files thoroughly before distribution or printing. We recommend conducting user testing and ensuring accuracy to prevent any potential issues post-delivery.

Socialight Creative Agency is not liable for any damages or consequences resulting from the client's sharing or distribution of project files after final approval. Clients engage in sharing at their own risk and are responsible for any legal or reputational implications that may arise.

  • 11. What We Don't Do After Project Delivery

  • For Graphic Designs (No Revisions)

Once your project has been approved and final files delivered, we don't offer additional revisions. A new quote and project may be required unless you have a usable backup file per our policy to not guarantee the storage of client files after project delivery.

    For Websites (No Tech Support)

Dear Valued Clients, it's important to clarify that while we excel in designing visually stunning and functional websites, we specialize solely in the creative aspect of your online presence. We want to ensure clarity regarding our role: we're designers, not technical support or IT experts. While we may assist with the initial set up with your domain registration, website hosting, and other technical aspects and strive to offer guidance and assistance within the design process, any technical issues related to hosting, domain registration, or ongoing maintenance fall outside our scope. For technical queries or support, we recommend consulting with specialized professionals in the field. However, please note that we are available for design updates and enhancements to your website. Our commitment remains unwavering in delivering exceptional design solutions tailored to your needs. Thank you for your understanding and collaboration.
