ELIGIBILITY
To be considered for this award, nominees must meet the following criteria:
1. Leadership: The nominee is typically in the apex of the leadership journey
(typically 20+ years), has consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership, made
a significant & lasting impact in their field, industry, or community, and has taken on new challenges, inspired others, and made a positive impact on Frederick County.
2. Community involvement: The nominee must have a strong record of involvement and a solid commitment to creating a positive impact on the broader community through volunteering, charitable work, or other initiatives.
3. Professional achievements: The nominee must have achieved substantial
professional accomplishments, such as receiving industry recognition, developing
innovative solutions, or leading major projects that have resulted in measurable
outcomes.
4. Personal qualities: The nominee must embody the spirit and intent of the LFC
alumni association by exhibiting personal qualities such as integrity, passion,
dedication, creativity, resilience, and lifelong learning.
5. Active involvement: The nominee must be an LFC graduate, an active member of the LFC Alumni association, and have demonstrated a commitment to the
organization's mission and goals through their involvement in events, programs,
and volunteer activities.
By meeting these criteria, the Impact Leader of the Year Award recipient will be
recognized as a visionary leader who has had a broad, meaningful, and lasting impact to their field, organization, and community, and embodies the values and spirit of the Leadership Frederick County (LFC) Program and Alumni Association.
