ELIGIBILITY
To be considered for this award, nominees must meet the following criteria:
1. Leadership potential: The nominee must be at the beginning of the leadership
journey (typically less than 10 years) and demonstrate excellent leadership potential and have shown a willingness to take on new challenges, inspire others, and make a positive impact on their community.
2. Community involvement: The nominee must have a record of community
involvement and have demonstrated a commitment to making a positive impact on
their community through volunteering, charitable work, or other initiatives.
3. Professional achievements: The nominee must have achieved a notable
professional achievement, such as advancing in their career, starting their own
business, or making a valuable contribution to their field.
4. Personal qualities: The nominee must embody the spirit and intent of the LFC
alumni association by exhibiting personal qualities such as integrity, passion,
dedication, creativity, and a commitment to professional growth.
5. Active involvement: The nominee must be a recent (less than 5 years) LFC graduate, a member of the LFC Alumni association, and shown support for the organization's mission and goals through involvement in events, programs, or volunteer activities.
By meeting these criteria, the Emerging Leader of the Year Award recipient will be
recognized as a role model and inspiration to others, and as someone who embodies the values and spirit of the Leadership Frederick County (LFC) program.
