2024 Spokane Human Rights Champion Nomination
We're now accepting nominations for the 2024 Spokane Human Rights Champions Awards.

This is a wonderful opportunity to formally recognize and honor individuals and groups in our community who are dedicated to protecting and advancing human rights.

The Spokane Human Rights Champions will be honored by Human Rights Spokane and the City of Spokane Human Rights Commission at our annual banquet on November 21, 2024, along with Gonzaga Center for Hate Studies' Eva Lassman: Take Action Against Hate awards recepients.

Nominations will be accepted through June 17, 2024.

What You'll Need

Criteria
- What is the nominee's impact on the community (depth and/or length of service)?
- How is the nominee an advocate for reform?
- To what extent does the nominee go above and beyond role expectations and requirements?

Eligibility
Eligibility requirements:
- Nominee's work must impact the Greater Spokane Region
Not eligible if nominee is:
- Currently serving on the City of Spokane Human Rights Commission or Human Rights Spokane
- A recipient of this award within the past five years
- A recipient of Gonzaga Center for the Study of Hate's Eva Lassman, Take Action Against Hate award within the past five years
- An elected official
