Submit Your Writing Sample.

High qualifications are essential for our advanced Shape, Write, and Sell Your Novel course. To determine eligibility, submit a writing sample. Your sample can be a partial chapter, scene, or your first pages. 

Samples must:

• be 800-1,000 words.
• include dialogue.
• be submitted as a word doc, PDF, or typed entry.

Our trained instructors will review your sample in confidence and identify if you have what it takes to succeed in this ambitious course. Be on the lookout for an email with your results, within 3-5 business days!

 

Submitting your writing sample is free of charge, there's no obligation to enroll.

When you qualify, we'll pair you with a one-on-one instructor—your mentor from your first assignment until you graduate.

Showcase your writing skills! Grammar and punctuation are important, of course, but our main interest is originality, style, and your aptitude for conveying ideas and expressing yourself.
