Meet A Scientist Overview:

Thank you for your interest in presenting at our "Meet a Scientist" event! This program is designed to connect the public with Maine’s vibrant scientific community by showcasing current research and projects happening across the state. Our goal is to educate attendees on a variety of topics, foster curiosity, and inspire participation in community science where possible. Your involvement as a presenter plays a vital role in bridging the gap between science and the community, and we’re grateful for your support in making this event a success!
What You'll Do as a Scientist Presenter:
- Set up an interactive table showcasing your area of study (e.g., wildlife conservation, water quality, climate science, or etc.)
- Engage with participants of all ages through hands-on activities, short demonstrations, or visual displays
- Help attendees learn about real-world scientific research and how they can contribute as community scientists
