We require all of our young kittens (under 6 months old) to be fostered in a home with another friendly kitty playmate for their social benefit. This means that if you do not currently own any friendly, playful cats and are applying to foster one of our kittens, you can expect to foster TWO kitties for us instead. This eliminates the risk of Single Kitten Syndrome. We do not make any exceptions to this stipulation. Do you understand?

Do you have experience with bottle feeding kittens?

Given that the majority of the cats we intake come from outdoors, we see a lot of sick cats. A rescue cat's condition can be unpredictable, and we always have to expect them to not be healthy upon intake. They could also develop illnesses/viruses/diseases over time that may have been underlying to begin with. Are you willing to foster a cat or kitten that is sick? *being "sick" doesn't necessarily mean they are contagious, that it is untreatable, or that it is long-term

If your foster kitty(ies) are not adopted from PetSmart within 3 weeks from when they were transferred to our partner store location, they must return to the foster home in which they came from (this is so they get a break from the kennel, and so we can send other kitties in their place to be adopted). During this 3 week period, we will not send you any new fosters until yours have been successfully adopted, in case they do have to be returned to you from PetSmart. Do you understand?
