Keep Arizona Blue Student Coalition's summer internship program is based off of our core mission––mobilizing young voters to elect Arizona Democrats up and down the ballot, and training the next generation of campaign leaders. By joining us in that mission, you'll gain political and communications experience, and both skills and connections to last a lifetime!
Our 2024 summer internship will last from May 15th until August 15th, with applications due on April 30th. The program is hybrid and working hours are flexible.
Upon completion of each month of the program, interns will receive a $500 stipend.
Responsibilities:
- Develop social media graphics that educate, inform, and engage young voters
- Create short videos for social media and presentations
- Work with the comms team to design issue and candidate ads
- Design and order literature, slate cards, brochures, and merchandise
- Increase follower counts, interactions, and impressions on social accounts
- Co-manage KABSC's Facebook, Instagram, X, and/or TikTok accounts
- Other responsiblities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Canva and/or Adobe Creative Cloud, and mainstream social media platforms
- Creative, thoughtful, and detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Access to a computer
- Ability to work under deadlines and in rapid response situations
In order to be eligible for this internship, you must be...
- a full-time or part-time student, or a graduate within the last two years, at a four-year university, community college, technical school, or high school.
- at least 18 years of age upon starting the internship.
- a U.S. citizen.
- able to access a computer connected to high-speed internet.

Time Committment: approx. 10-15 hours/week
