  • I, the undersigned Releasor agree to abide by the following rules as they relate to use of the Heights Above LLC training facility. I understand that failure to follow these rules may result in expulsion from property. This waiver may be executed by original, facsimile, or electronic signatures, each of which shall be deemed to be original and binding upon the undersigned Releasor and HA.

     

    Rules:

  • Typical access to north elevated platform is by ship ladder, use rails and face stairs when ascending or descending. Use chain safety rail once on platform.

     

    All users will wear appropriate full body harnesses designed for rope access activities while in the facility space(5 ring).

     

    Scaffold capacity: up to eight (8) attendees maximum at any one time

     

    Approved tie off/anchorage points for suspension and/or fall arrest include the scaffold standard rosette nodes, and other elements as directed by training staff. Scaffold properties engineering/data sheets are available upon request.

     

    The scaffold system is inspected daily and signed off by session host/director. Do not use the scaffold unless inspection tag is intact and updated

     

    The north elevated platform training surface is provided with sliding anchor monorail and a load limited horizontal lifeline. Suspension from HLL is prohibited.

     

    The sliding anchor monorail (mezzanine) shall incorporate connections to the red rigging pears directly with compatible connectors.

     

    Horizontal aid points consist of welded U-bars used to laterally progress across beam, or sliding slings at the east box beam.

     

    Vertical aid points are installed on the timber tower leg and climbing wall and are spaced at 1.5-foot intervals, per SPRAT requirements.

     

    Two mid height deviation anchorage are installed approximately 10 feet above floor

     

    No horseplay or use under the influence of any substance that impairs good judgement, physical ability, or creates an unsafe condition.

     

    Highlines, sloped tyroleans, skate systems, or other lateral loading is to be directed and supervised by HA prior to application. Additional directional guys or engineering analysis may be required to accommodate this type of loading.

     

    Helmets shall be worn when in hazard zone, chin straps must be buckled prior to entering fall zone.

     

    Trainers shall have the ability and training to affect a rescue promptly, HA has a telescoping aerial work platform if needed at all times when tower use is ongoing. First aid supplies are readily available.

     

    No unauthorized person may use this tower without acknowledgment of the above-mentioned mandates.

     

    Rock climbing wall will use provided top belay ropes or auto belay when participants are at shoulder height.

     

    Rope Access Trainees will use equipment solely provided by HA other than approved helmets, unless authorized by Trainer. Outside equipment shall be thoroughly inspected by HA staff prior to use

     

    Rope Access Work Plan will be developed as required prior to training, and available for Trainee review prior to training at heights
