The Embrace Institute (TEI)

An initiative of Kangaroo Care Day (May 15), TEI empowers parents and parent leaders to support, guide, and advocate for trauma-informed, family-centered Kangaroo Care in the hospital and beyond.

Parents have the power to drive change in their communities. TEI welcomes all parents—regardless of organizational affiliation—to join individually and make an impact.

At TEI, members share knowledge and best practices, strengthen advocacy for safe, evidence-based Kangaroo Care, and enhance implementation so every baby and family receives trauma-informed care.
