General Policies for ALL applicants for ALL Offices
1. Each individual is allowed to submit an application for one office at a time. The applicant must complete the official application for the office sought and submit the application prior to the deadline as outlined in the Bylaws of the New Mexico Association of REALTORS®.
2. Applicants must be REALTOR® members in good standing of the New Mexico Association of REALTORS®.
3. Applicants must hold an active real estate license from the State of New Mexico.
4. Applicants must be full-time residents of New Mexico (residing in the state a minimum of 275 days a year I am a full-time resident of New Mexico).
In addition to the requirements listed above, at the time of application, applicants must meet the following requirements for the specific office for which they are applying:
APPLICANTS FOR THE OFFICE OF FIRST VICE PRESIDENT MUST:
Have attended 2 of the last 4 Board of Director Meetings of the New Mexico Association of REALTORS®.
AND AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION have completed 3 of 8 of the following requirements:

1. Completed a minimum of one year on the Finance Committee of the New Mexico Association of REALTORS® within the last five years.
2. Completed a term as President of a Member Board.
3. Completed at least one year as a District Vice President of the New Mexico Association of REALTORS®.
4. Completed a term as a member of the Board of Directors for the New Mexico Association of REALTORS®.
5. Completed a term as Chair of a Committee, Task Force, or PAG of the New Mexico Association of REALTORS® within the last three years (list up to three below).
6. Served as Officer of a Local or State Chapter of an NAR Institute, Society, Council, or REALTOR® owned MLS, or a New Mexico Association of REALTORS® Subsidiary Corporation (NM MLS, Stanley H. Mathis/NMREEF, or Benevolent Fund).
7. Demonstrated or can provide experience in serving as a financial officer in a related leadership position.
8. Graduated from a Leadership Program.
