    The Gregory Peoples Degree Completion Scholarship, named after EMU's former Dean and retired University Ombudsman, was created to assist minoritized students who are in financial need to graduate from Eastern Michigan University. This is a scholarship that honors and acknowledges Dr. People's many years of service as well as provide EMU students in the process of completing an undergraduate degree with the much needed support to achieve their educational goals. Requirements: Have successfully completed at least 85 undergraduate credit hours, have an EMU cumulative GPA of 2.25 or higher, have declared a major and be an active EMU student enrolled in at least one of the past four semesters (preference may be given to students who are returning to complete a degree). Students must also demonstrate financial need through the current year Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
