Puppy Application Logo
  • Owning a dog is a lifetime commitment. They are a member of the family and are not to be taken in lightly. The application process for acquiring a Trublumate Puppy involves getting to know potential owners to ensure they understand the commitment of owning a dog. It helps the breeder understand the kind of home and life a prospective owner can offer to an Australian Shepherd and whether a Trublumate Puppy is a suitable match. The application also provides information about the purchasing process and aims to answer any questions the applicant may have. It encourages applicants to provide as much detail as possible to strengthen their application.

    • Puppy Preference
    • When selecting a puppy, it's important to remember that Australian Shepherds come in a variety of colors and tail types, including natural bob tails, full-length tails, and everything in between, with colors ranging from black, red, red merle, to blue merle, all with various markings. However, these physical traits do not impact the dog's temperament, energy level, or needs. While the breeder aims to accommodate preferences, they prioritize matching puppies with owners based on personality and temperament rather than solely on color. Keeping an open mind regarding aesthetic attributes such as coat color is encouraged, with the focus placed on finding the right puppy based on compatibility and temperament.

    • About Puppy's New Family
    • Australian Shepherds are versatile, adapting well to various lifestyles from farm work to urban living. Understanding both the prospective family's lifestyle and the puppy's personality is crucial in determining the best match. Applicants are encouraged to specify their desired roles for the Australian Shepherd, whether as a companion, active partner, working dog, show prospect, or support animal, to facilitate the matching process.

At Trublumate Australian Shepherds, we prioritize finding committed and capable owners to ensure our puppies develop into healthy, well-adjusted adults. We do not accept deposits for unborn puppies and prioritize suitability over first come, first served. At around 2 weeks old, we confirm if a suitable puppy is available in the litter, and a non-refundable deposit of $500 secures the puppy. Specific puppy assignments are made close to 8 weeks after assessments including vet checks and temperament testing. The remaining $3500 must be paid before collection. Meet and greet events are held after the first vaccines, providing an opportunity to meet the puppies, their mother, and our other dogs, while allowing us to learn about your family and preferences to match the perfect puppy to your home.

Your puppy's care package includes Dogs Queensland registration, microchip transfer, DNA testing, veterinary checks, vaccinations, worming, and a puppy pack. We also provide ongoing support, boarding, grooming, and training services to facilitate a smooth transition into your home.
