Not forgotten homes house rules and reminders

1. There a ZERO tolerance for violence (verbal or physical abuse), any drugs or alcohol, drug paraphernalia, and Pornography! This also goes for any of your visitors.

2. You are all grown adults, act like it! Please be respectful of your housemates, our neighbors, and myself (Tanaya Croft).

3. Everyone must contribute to cleaning, not only your room but the shared living spaces, all areas subject to checks. FYI there are cameras in the common areas. This is to include the stove microwave, refrigerator, sweeping, and mopping.

4.ISYOURS!!!!!!!! DON'T TOUCH IT If you need something JUST ASK!

5. If you break any furniture or household property you will be responsible for replacing it.

6. If you DO NOT want your rent to increase, please be cautious of turning lights, tv's and water off in a timely manner.

7. There is no lease. There is no deposit taken, therefore if you leave after you have paid your rent, you forfeit what you have already paid. No refunds on any rental days.

8. There will be no frivolous calls to 911, police, ambulance, and or fire.

9. | will always communicate what day of the week I am coming to take everyone to the bank and store. Once you have missed my rounds it will be your responsibility to get rent to me. I will not be coming to the house 2 and 3 times to collect rent. If I have to come back it will be a $25 delivery fee

10. You are responsible for buying your own food.

11. Clean up immediately after you prepare any food (DO NOT LEAVE THE KITCHEN WHILE COOKING) and storing leftovers appropriately. That means washing all dishes and utensils immediately after cooking (DO not leave items soaking), on countertop, in microwave. Place all uneaten for in storage containers (No Plates to be left in fridge.

12. All meals are to be eaten in the kitchen. Light snacks are permitted in the TV room but must be cleaned up immediately.

13. Do not pour grease down the sink, down the toilet, or in the yard either. Please be sure to use the drain catchers as we do not have garbage disposal.

14. Please take the trash out on designated days. The trash to go the road for pick up and this is everyone's responsibility.

15.Floors must be swept and mopped.

16.You DO NOT HAVE TO COOK EVERYTHING ON HIGH!!!!!!!!!!!

17.All bedrooms are subject to room checks to make sure they are cleaned at any time.

18.Bedrooms are to be kept neat, clean, & organized (that means sweep or mop any floors in your room.

19.Non-perishable items may be stored in the room as space allows.

20.There are no visitors allowed in any bedroom at any time to include NO OVER NIGHT GUEST!!!!

21.DO NOT leave your tv's on all night.

22. Clean and defrost fridges in your rooms Living Rooms .

23. Please be considerate of others, this is a shared space.

24. No meals are to be eaten in any Living Rooms.

25. Please cut the tv off after you are done watching it, I do not care what time it is. If no one is watching it, cut it off.

26. This is where you may have guests. NO OVERNIGHT GUEST!!!!!!!!!Period!!!

27.Keep your FEET off the couches and tables! Go lay in your bed not the living room.

Laundry/Bathroom

1. Please do not start a load if you cannot finish it. Please do not leave laundry in the washer or dryer. Wash and dry them and immediately out.

2. Please have all laundry done by 9pm, to be respectful to those who sleep by this room.

3. Please make sure that the clothes are leveled out in the washer.

4. Please be mindful that everyone has to wash, not just you. You do not need to wash clothes every day.

5. Wash on COLD only this; saves on power/water

6. Please clean up immediately after yourself with each use. Clean shower, tub, toilet and / or sink immediately after each use.

7. Please be respectful to your house mates, do not take too long of a shower (20 minutes is more than enough time), especially in the mornings.

8. Please be sure to dry off and get dressed prior to leaving the bathroom. If the rug provided is damp, hang it somewhere for it to dry.

9. No one is allowed to walk AROUND NAKED

10. Do not wash clothes in the shower or hang any clothing up to dry in the bathroom. NO personal items are to be left in the bathroom. Take your stuff back to YOUR room.

11. If you have a vehicle, the vehicle must be in operating order, licensed, & insured. Space is limited so be curious of others.

12. Smoking is permitted only on porches (front & back Smoking is not permitted in any home of the house whatsoever or at any time! I do not care what no one else has told you! Get your BUTTS up; do not leave them in the yard.

13. No incense or candles are permitted to be burned on the premises.

14. All ASHES, CIGARETTE or CIGAR butts must be dumped in the outside trash can.

15. $500 cleaning fee for any room that has to be cleaned as a result of smoking. 

16. Please be courteous to others, loud tv's/ music is not allowed. Personal TVs in your bedrooms are allowed.

17. Visiting hours are from 830 am till 8pm.

18. We are not responsible for any injuries on our properties. Your negligence is your problem. If you notice anything unsafe in the house please call me ASAP. I don't care what time it. 

19. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged belongings. It is your responsibility to store or protect your belongings and / valuables.

21. Rent is due on the 1st of every month and is considered late after the 5th.

23. All rules are subject to fines of $25 ( smoking in the house is a $500.00 fine) each if not followed. 

24. NO PETS (cats {inside or outside}, dogs, birds, or fish) Sorry nothing I can do about this, this rule is from my landlord and the home owner!!!!!

**** The rent is due on the 1st of every month and is considered late on the 5th of every month. Rent includes room, bed, first set of linen, water, electricity, stove, and refrigerator. Rent does not include food, cleaning supplies, transportation, or any other services. Anything else I have provided is extra (washer, dryer, microwaves, tables, & etc

****If you break any of these rules you have agreed to prior to arrival will be asked to leave immediately. NFBH is protected under Title 45-1-20 Hotels, Motels, Restaurants, and Boardinghouses Lodging Establishment Act of the South Carolina Code of Laws. Section 45-2-80 which specifically states that this Boardinghome reserves the right to refuse or deny accommodations, Facilities, or privileges to anyone who is unwilling or unable to pay for accommodations of the lodging establishment. IMMEDIATE EVICTION and removal from my property. This will be enforced for failure to comply. All belongings will be removed from the property after 48 hours of your departure and can be sold by state law after 10 days.

Any additional rules are subject to be added and amended to this list at my discretion

***The rent is agreed upon by both parties and a receipt will be provided. Rent is due on the 1st of every month and is considered late on the 5th.  

If you are a smoker a deposit of $250 will be required. If in fact the room has been smoked in the deposit will be used as a cleaning fee. 

Regular room cleaning fee $25 If I have to come clean your room, there will be a charge.

Failure to clean any area (example:kitchen, living quarters, room, fridge, and or bathroom) is $25.

Any cost of repairs that you cause will be presented to you at that time of repair. 

There are no fractional rates

By signing this I am in agreement to the term and conditions listed above and have been made aware of all the rules. I understand that a copy will be placed and will remain on the house bulletin board.
