  • KEN BELL IS BACK!

    Ken is returning to teach Dance Company members in May. Two levels of tap classes will be offered. Register for one or both below.

  • LEVEL ONE TAP WORKSHOP

    PINNACLE - 10:30 AM

    TUESDAY/THURSDAY

    This tap class will be taught at a slower pace. Students will review basic steps and terminology.

    Students will be introduced to rhythm and timing with short combinations and various styles of tap dancing and to help develop technique. All classes have a 10 minimum and 16 maximum student limit.

  • LEVEL TWO TAP WORKSHOP

    PINNACLE - 9:15 AM

    TUESDAY/THURSDAY

    This class will be taught at a faster pace. It will continue to develop skills including musicality and sound clarity. Students will focus on increasing speed and developing style. All classes have a 10 minimum and 16 maximum student limit.

    LEVEL ONE JAZZ WORKSHOP

    SUN SHADOWS - 11:15 AM

    FRIDAY

    Join Olivia as she introduces the style of jazz at a beginner pace. Olivia starts with an easy “follow along” style warm up and stretches that accommodate your senior body. Throughout the class, dancers can expect to enjoy fun songs while learning beginner steps, terminology, and technique. 

    Olivia will teach a simple routine with time for questions and plenty of repetition. 
    Her goal is for you to leave with your body feeling great and a sense of accomplishment.

    SWING JAZZ DANCE WORKSHOP

    PINNACLE - 9:15 AM

    TUESDAY/THURSDAY

    ALL LEVELS

    Introducing “Hanukkah Swings,” fun holiday choreography to a swing medley of Hanukkah songs using basic jazz and swing steps such as lindys, Charleston, jazz squares and other simple jazz steps.  Students will be taught a lively dance routine that blends the spirited rhythms of swing with the festive traditions of Hanukkah.

    BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE TAP WORKSHOP

    PINNACLE - 10:30 AM

    TUESDAY/THURSDAY

    Marcella will blend beginner and intermediate tappers in this workshop as a bridge for tappers to improve basic tap skills and level up to combinations of basic tap steps.
