  • Volunteer Artist Building Reps (VABRs)

VABRs serve as the first point of contact for visitors entering the artist buildings on the Workhouse Art Center campus. VABRs are stationed in the gallery at the front of these buildings, welcoming visitors to the space. They are knowledgeable about what is going on at the Workhouse and the other programs and offerings available to visitors, in addition to having a basic understanding of our site’s history. VABRs answer visitor questions and work with the artists on duty to provide quality visitor experience support artwork sales. VABRs do not handle financial transactions.
