“The child with a positive ecological identity has a sense of belonging in knowing that he or she is a part of nature versus separate from it, a sense of wonder in being in touch with what is beautiful and awe-inspiring in the natural world, and a sense of security (or healing) found ‘in the repeated refrains of nature- the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after the winter’ (Carson, 1965).”
-Ruth Wilson

Once children turn 2 1/2 and are potty trained, they are no longer eligible for our Parent Tot Forest Play Group, and will need to enroll in our Forest Kindergarten program, as space allows.
We give preference to families wishing to enroll in our Parent Tot Forest Play Group who have the intention of enrolling in our Forest K program when their child comes of age.
Is this your intention?
We ask our families for the following commitments:
I am committed to staying for the entire 2024-2025 school year with my child(ren), in the Parent Tot Forest Play Group.
Please submit this completed application and your $400 Annual Commitment Fee here.
Thank you! We will be in touch with you very soon, and want to thank you so much for your interest in Wee Folk Forest Kindergarten.
