If not already current with the diocesan requirements for Safe Environment, adults volunteering with minors need to:

1) Complete a background screening with fingerprinting and

2) Complete abuse prevention education.

Compliance with the diocesan Safe Environment policy is managed through an online program called VIRTUS. Please contact our parish office to set up a new user account and begin the Safe Environment process or to verify that your file is already current. Let us know if you already completed volunteer requirements with St. Paul Catholic School or another parish so we can verify records.

Our VBS program will begin at 8am with dismissal at 12 noon, Monday 6/24/24 through Friday 6/28.
For our program to be successful, we need adult leaders present at 7:45 (before children arrive) through 12:30. Can you volunteer for the duration of the program or part-time?

There is no VBS fee for any child in the family if an adult guardian is volunteering for the duration of the week.

In serving as Program Volunteers, we must be intentional in being disciples ourselves before we can form disciples. Our witness in words and actions must show obedience to the moral teachings of the Catholic Church. Our speech and conduct should clearly show our commitment to Christ and His Church.

I agree to comply with all safety and behavior policies as set forth by the Diocese of Pensacola - Tallahassee for the protection of youth during my participation in this program. I will work to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants in my charge. I will refrain from any actions or behaviors that are not consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church and any that are potentially harmful to myself or to other participants.

In addition, I hereby give permission for the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee and any of its affiliated organizations, including, but not limited to The Catholic Compass, to use my name and/or photograph for promotional, news or public relations purposes in print and/or electronic media.

ADULT CONSENT AND RELEASE FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT

In Case of Emergency, and in the event that I am not coherent or conscious, I hereby grant St. Paul Staff permission to act on my behalf in seeking emergency medical treatment for myself in the event that such treatment is deemed necessary. I hereby give permission to emergency and hospital personnel to release information on my condition to the Diocese of Pensacola- Tallahassee and St. Paul Parish personnel. I hereby give my permission to those administering medical treatment to do so. I further absolve and release St. Paul Parish, its Pastor, employees, and volunteers, as well as the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee and its employees, from any liability whatsoever when acting on my behalf in regard to medical treatment, and in any other respect deemed necessary should I become incapacitated.
