Groove Nation's Help Project delivers dance programs to Primary Schools in areas of need.
This program involves Groove Nation visiting your primary school for a week to work with your entire primary school for free. We create a 'show in a week' and fully support your school in all aspects of bringing this together. On the final day (Friday), an evening show where all the students perform will be managed by Groove Nation (in collaboration with your school).
Audience members will be asked for a gold coin donation upon entry and the money raised goes to a worthy cause nominated by the school (e.g., a local charity or good cause etc.)
The criteria are:
1. You must be nominating a primary school (not a high school)
2. The primary school must be in an area of need (e.g., remote access, low SES area or an area effected by natural disaster).
3. The primary school can be public mainstream or special needs
4. The school must be able to participate in 2025
5. The school must have a minimum of 6 classes (excluding Support Unit classes)
