Volunteering
Volunteering at DSSC can take on many forms where each parent can contribute based on their abilities and availability. You can volunteer for an existing task through your child's Weltenbummler classroom such as sanitize toys, clean classroom or act as a chaperon during scheduled field trips. Other ways to support would be through planned events, e.g. helping to set things up or clean up afterwards.
As you learn more about our school and our needs, you might offer a unique gift of your time and talent. Some volunteer activities happen outside of school hours and can be done from home. DSSC appreciates help from our parents' diverse skills and expertise.
Talk to teachers, administrators, and other families to find out what is needed and how your particular talents can best support our school.
